The SSSSO, Valsad initiated the SWACHHATA ABHIYAAN with 3 omkaras and a warm welcome of our beloved baba by offering a flower bouquet at his lotus feet by the District president Shri Hemanshubhai Desai. The chief guest and the key-note speaker of the programme, Dr.Janakbhai Desai gave a brief speech on the very motive of this Swachhata Abhiyaan, He provided useful information about various health related issues and diseases like dengue, malaria, etc. that are caused due to unclean surroundings and thus emphasised keeping the environment clean. Everyone began to clean the surrounding area of the ‘Sathya Sai Seva Sankul’ campus, which included garrage, buildings, the lanes, and the roads, wearing hand gloves, along with brooms, garbage buckets, garbage bags, dust pans, cutting apparatus. Each of the cleaned and collected garbage was shifted to the Valsad Nagar-Palika specified dust-bins.
