With the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba a wonderful and colorful program of Sahasra Veda Galarchana has been organized with Bal Vikas students and school students from 40 schools including Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyothi school of Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh state. More than 1200 students representing over 40 schools, staff and Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Gurus and students and staff of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar were fortunate enough to take part in this mass Veda Recitation program.

The program commenced with lamping of Divine light and an introduction by the Veda Coordinator. Smt K Gayatri Devi, Rector, Andhra University was the Chief Guest and Sri S G Chalam, State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation-AP and TS and other office bearers have witnessed the program. After briefing about the significance of Vedas and importance of holding such events for the children/students at very young age, the Veda Chanting commenced at 5.30 pm and followed the sequence given below.
