Aum Sri Sairam The mass movement ‘Swacchata se Divyata tak’ was being organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti, Karnal on 2nd October, 2016 on the occasion of Birth anniversary of Father of our nation Late Sh. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. All members of Sathya Sai Samiti, Karnal including Bal Vikas gurus, Bal Vikas children, Youths, Parents and other eminent personalities were invited to actively participate in this event. A total of 102 people (42 Bal Vikas Children, 33 Gents [both youth and elderly people] and 27 ladies[ 14 bal vikas gurus and 13 other ladies devotees]) had participated in this event. The entire festive program was being organised for 3 hours from 4 Pm- 7 Pm. It was started by offering floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi by the Bal Vikas children, followed by a small speech on the life of Mahatma Gandhi by one of our Bal Vikas guru Mrs. Payal. Then a small skit was performed by the Bal vikas children of Mrs. Reema Taneja titled ‘Kokilavrat’. At the end, one of our chief guests, Dr. Yash Chopra from NDRI, Karnal delivered a speech on the theme of the program ‘Swacchata se Divyata tak’ and motivated the present gathering to take up a task of cleaning our surrounding areas to serve the nation. All the people present there (BV Gurus, Children, Youths and other Devotees) then cleaned the premises around Sai Centre, Karnal. The Program was concluded with the Mangal Aarti offered to our dearest Lord Sai by by our chief guest Dr. Avtar Singh from NDRI, Karnal.
