As directed, Domlur Samithi today organised the Swatcha Bharat – cleaning initiative in Domlur Layout. The Samithi members and Bal Vikas parents participated in this. The program started at 7 am this morning at our Samithi with prayers to Swami. There were 17 participants in total – 6 male members, 7 female members 4 young adults.We formed four teams and cleaned 4 roads in total – part of 1st cross road, 1A main road, 1B main road, and 2A cross road. This activity evinced interest among the other residents in the area, who also agreed not to litter the road by throwing the garbage on the road. At the end of the activity, the garbage collected was disposed thru the BBMP garbage collection van.
