Swatchta Se Divyata Tak Date: 6 Th oct 2018 Samithi : Kandivali, Borivali, Dahisar Location : Lalji Pada, Gandhi Nagar, Kandivali West No. of male : 3 No. of male youth : 8 No. of mahila : 4 No. of mahila youth : 5 No. of children : 477 No. of hours : 3 Manhours : 1247 hrs Description of sewa : Swatchta Se Divyata program was conducted in Lalji Pada slums surrounding Gandhi Vidya Mandir, Kandivali West . 499 people (including 477 students) participated with grooms, black bags for filling garbage etc. The program started at 8 am and continued upto 10.30 am. The whole area was surcharged with the awakening generated by Someone watchta Abhiyan. They also carried play cards depicting slogans showing the advantages accuring from the program. Even the shopkeepers of the slum area were overjoyed to see the students cleaning the slums . This was a good attempt to inculcate the feelings of cleanliness which is next to Godliness. Arti was performed at the end of the event and two Ladoos were given to each participant.
