A massive cleaning programme organised by the samithis of Dum Dum zone( Birati.. D. d Cantt.. R. Gopalpur.. Baguihati.. D. d South.. Salt lake) on the auspicious occasion of Swachhata se Divyata Tak.. covering 15 kms of road starting from Birati to Saltlake.. The journey began at 7.30 AM from Birati Kali Temple with Omkaram.. Members of Birati Samithi(Gents-3..Ladies-3) helped to inaugurate the cleaning journey which then continued towards Airport Gate No.. 1..and the process was well supported by D. D Cantt(Gents-12..ladies-9) and R. Gopalpur(Gents-8..Ladies-1) samithi..The members of the cleaning team then moved towards Nagerbazar market and cleaned the entire area with full support of Baguihati(gents..7..ladies.. 7) and D. D South(gents..4 ladies.. 1 balvikas.. 1) samithi.. The Divine journey continued toward Shyamnagar where roads and 1 urinal were cleaned up by young members of the team and moved towards saltlake BD Market where Salt Lake samithi(gents..4 ladies.. 5) and the cleaning team cleaned the entire area including public urinal. The programme ended at 1.30 pm with omkaram and shanti mantra.. Jai Sai Ram..
