Bapuji Govt school is the adopted school in Bangalore west district of Karnataka state.Gandhiji himself had visited this school in the year 1932.This age old school which was poorly maintained was chosen for cleaning activity by predominantly youth sevadal members.This institution also has a junior college where our YUVA VIKAS programme was conducted..the college students both boys and girls also enthusiastically participated in the cleaning activity. Cobwebs were removed, dusting,and removing of weeds and unwanted plants like parthenium were removed in the premises of the institution .Senior sevadals, youths, college students, and even Balvikas children actively participated in the Swacha ta se Divyata tak programme this morning.Simultaneously, Bhajans were conducted in the college auditorium.Therefore there was inner cleanliness through bhajans and external cleanliness with seva activity. Earlier, the programme was inaugurated by sri K K Srinivasan former chief of IRDA, Quotes on cleanliness of Swami and Gandhiji were read, the song “Vaishnavajanato” was rendered,chanting of Sarva dharma mantra”Om tat sat sri ” was chanted. During this time, candles were lit, Posters with message,Swachata se Divyata were displayed by Bal vikas children,and children dressed depicting Mahatama Gandhiji,Subhase chandra bose were on stage..children wearing costumes representing various religions were also was on stage. All in all the programme on the whole was a grand success with Bhagawa’s Grace. JAI SAI RAM
