This was a part of Mass cleaning activity as performed by various Samithis of Kolkata district on 2.10.19 to mark the beginning of Swachhta se Divyata Tak Programme. All the Samithi Conveners were entrusted with the task of accomplishing cleaning of their allotted stretch. It was a stupendous sight to see Sathya Sai Sevadals wearing Scarf badge in action to clean a stretch of 4.5 Km from Tollygunje Metro Station – Hazra Crossing and another stretch of 4.5 Km from Bowbazar Crossing – Shyambazar 5 point Crossing via College Street. The passersby were watching with appreciation this human chain of Sevadals engaged in the act of Cleaning throughout this long stretch at the same time.
